Within the last week I have been inspired by visiting lots of places, but here are a few that sprang to mind...I love how iKerriLove uses flowers on her pages. Flowers so loverly I can almost smell them and my page must contain flowers. Period. Also I watched Eveline's video about her new travel journal with the neat-oh-peat-oh pockets and flaps and secret places. Ok something like that is a must as well...hum flip up/out/open flaps and some pull out tags, yeah. And then there was the video that Paula put up over at Art Journaling (your really should join) about how to carve your own rubber stamps. I have made a couple before, but who knew I wasn't holding my tool right? Well Paula did, so I had to try my hand at making some-while holding the thingy the right way.
Oh I threw in some symbolism. What I mean is I sort of used some things that were already out there Only I made them my own. Now this page did take me a while to do (don't tell my Husband), but it did. This is the page with all the little flaps closed.
and the following are the words, symbols and suggestions that are behind the flaps and on the tags that pull out.
Humm, whatda ya know, that worked out really well. I hope you dear people like it. I'll be around to see what y'all have done, soon if not sooner. W~H~A~T! You are not playing along? Well I suggest that you do, because I for one love seeing how different dear people create. Don't you?

LOL How funny we both had the same idea with useing carved stamps. Though most were mine were done years ago. Only 2 (the fangs and the retro background)were done the day I did the page.
oh wow, I'm so flattered to have inspired you, that really means a lot to me! I LOVE your page, the flaps and stuff are awesome! I love how vibrant the colors are hidden behind the soft background of the page :) Great job, I love it!
BaBOOM!! Shazzam even! Wow! This is fabulous - I adore hidden elements, especially interactive ones. And the way you included my prompts as a start for a new statement on each flap and tucked piece is brilliant! I bow to your creativity! Thanks so much for playing along with the challenge!

Thanks y'all. I am quite enjoying this whole art journal challenge and I even break down and do a bit in my other on going journal...The Royal Decree; that's what the manufacturer titled it, so it works for me, beings how I'm royal and all.
Gorgeous! I've just found you here through Scrapacat's Gesso Dragon page, and I'm so excited to see your contribution to Go Forth. I'll be back soon I hope-there are just so many uber cool gals out here doing some amazing stuff, it's hard to keep track :)
Wow, those are awesome stamps. Makes me want to try to make some too! Great work.
Hi Jamie Lynn, thanks for stopping by my place, it's nice to meet you.
Our individual fingerprints show up in our creating does it not???
I love to see the variety!
Blessings!
When I got into art journaling and well art at all a year 1/2 ago I started making my own stamps because the perfect ones you can buy just didn't seem to fit the ruff edges of the art I was making :-) Love the page with pockets and the messages they contain. Looking forward to visiting the rest of your blog.
