Would you believe

I won! I have been entering these Blog Hops for what seems like F O R E V E R and Lisa over at AtistCellar said I won, because I was one of the few that actually followed directions on entering (just saying people). I am so blessed. Thank you Thank you!!!

I was excited to get the news and to get them in my mailbox so as soon as I could – to the studio with me. I love my other stencils from ArtistCellar too, just saying.

First I did a few pulls from the ol’ Gelli Arts printing plate (thanks again Jess) then I took one of the stencils from the Jane Girls Petite Series, Jane Davenport and a sheet of deli paper. I then did the pounce tech with a makeup sponge to stencil the lovely face on deli wrap paper using dark brown craft paint. L O V E how she came out. Actually I used all the stencils the same way, some on plain deli paper and some on Gelli printed deli paper. I really like how the deli paper handles with the Gelli and yet the edges practically disappears when applied on a background.

But what good are faces alone . . .

Enter my take on the envelope journal. I’m sure this will make a certain someone happy to receive.

By The Way ArtistCellar is having a new Blog Hop showing off the many ways / uses of Tamara Laporte – Tam’s Inspiration and Tam’s Whimsy stencils. But don't feel like you "have to enter" just because I say so. Besides maybe I'll be able to win again if y'all don't.

Exciting News

Lookie what I got

An Original hand carved Goof Ball by Tiger Claus Carvings! LOVE this little guy. I won him from Barb of Creating Faces fame. I entered in a Name It Contest, to help name a newly carved fella who put his head where the sun don't shine, if ya catch my drift. He is now known as Hello? Hello? I Can't hear you!! cause you need a "nice" name on Etsy. Which y'all should drop by to see the really neat things over there. Just Saying.

Thank you so much Barb & Tiger!

I know some of y'all have already heard about this but I'm going to mention it any way. I love this idea from Darcy and I hope to be able to play along {cross fingers that I can}. It's a Postcard challenge for 2012 and well Darcy explains it best over here at Art and Sole.

OMG peoples between Darcy and Inkiwell's 2012 IdeaCollector Pro ject I see I'm gonna be one busy busier gal over the next year. BTW I have my folders folded.

So what are your plans for Arting Along to next year?

The Winners ARE

@ConcernedOwl = Set 1

@Deb_In_PA = Set 2

@inkiwell = Set 3

Congratulations Ladies! Please look for a DM from @ArtistPoetGirl for further infomation.

Thanks everyone for playing along with me. Happy Arting to all

And the WINNER is ...

Thanks so much for entering my Give-a-Way. I am thrilled with the turn out {insert huge smile} I hope I'll be able to do something like this again {cross fingers}

And the winner is @grafxkat (entry by twitter), wooowhooo Kathy ^5 & wild applause (in my head)

I am so happy that so many of y'all wanted to win my little give a way, thirty-two in all. That's well over the two I had for my first give a way here; one of which never did claim her item. And that leads me on to ... please send me your address Kathy. ArtistPoet dot Girl @ gmail dot com

woooo wwwwhoooooowww & junk for Give A Ways and maybe next time it will be YOU!

As Promised

I am going to announce the winners of the drawing for the 2 Artist Trading Cards as was posted about here. But alas there are no winners, not even you, as no one was interested in entering. And that is okay, not everyone cares for ATCs. I will offer them up for trade at ATCs for All.

This is a cool site, GPP Street Team, that might give your muse a jumping off spot. Have you seen it? If not you should, however fair warning they play music.

While I'm offering up links have y'all been over to Art-it does a body good, lately? The current challenge is up and waiting for you to begin. I'm hoping to get to it this week as we have had some turmoil around our home. Brother in Law is still hospitalized and lost the lower half of his leg yesterday. We are expecting this latest surgery to start him on the road to recovery and perhaps he can be back at his home by Valentine's Day.

Hang tight my Arting friends and keep on Arting.

We have Winners!

For the ATC Give-Ah-Way; Snow Day and Send Snow
