Turkey

Our destination country for this now Famous Postcard Challenge brought to us by the lovely and talented Darcy of Art & Sole. Let's pop over there and take a lookie see at all my World Travelers. And of course there was only way for me to go this week so let’s get on with it…

From Allen to Liz:  Stamped background, Glazed & Gessoed (is too a word), Collaged with Prisma & Watercolor drawings & a magazine hand, Gel inks & a wee bit o’Acrylics

 and it reads

Dear Liz,
I am honored and look forward to hearing of your travels. If you should go to Turkey be sure to have a Coffee, I have a friend who makes me a cup from time to time. Love your drawing, Aunt Nan didn’t tell me you were an artist. I suppose we have more in common than I would have first guessed.
                                   Your friend
Allen

ps I am out of the hard cast and into a wrap, softer is better I think.

Makes me go hummm

Happy Art’in y’all

Love the coffee theme. You remind me how good it is! The background is very attractive and thank you for saying how you did it. We beginners take it all on board!

Love your card, it looks vintage, like one of those 50's kitchen adverts. Great use of lots of mediums x
