Romania

Was our destination this week in the weekly Postcard Challenge brought to us by the delightful Darcy from Art & Sole. She sure has a very talented following.

Anyway I tried two other cards before this one…one paper collage UGHfull and the other Prisma pencils…it wasn’t sooo horrible but I just wasn’t feeling it. Ya know, yeah I know you do. Whole E Smokes I was beginning to think I would have to revert to the Vampire and or Lykin drawing. Not that all Vamps are cheesy – Have y’all watched True Blood (HBO series) Now those are REAL vampires.

Week 16

From Liz to Allen: Soft Pastels

{Sad the photo is not very good}

 and it reads...

Dear Allen,

Glad you’re coming sometime, somewhere or another. You sure Chloe won’t mind? I don’t want to be a reason for a fight. Assuming there would be an issue… it would be for me if I were seeing someone. I shudder to think of the things Aunt Nan could have told you. I don’t mean that. She was a good Soul & meant the world to me. Slowly there is more of her to miss.

Liz

ps this is the Hoia-Baciu Forest, scary place

This is a link to Hoia-Baciu Forest. I’m excited to see what my fellow travelers have done. Hey why don’t ya come with me to check it out.

Happy Art’in Y’all

And I thought the woods of Forks were scary after reading New Moon but these are pretty scary too! Now I thought I pretty much liked trees, maybe there shouldn't be too many of them together! :)
Great drawing!!! ♥

Great place for vampires and other unsavory souls to hang out...love your forest. I believe Jarrod and his wonder-dog Uxio passed through there on their way to the winefields they were inspecting. A particular group of destructive gypsies like to hide out in this forest and plan their next act of agri-terrorism. I'm thankful that there are just a few bad ones...

Well done!

Hugs,
abby

Very atmospheric postcard. I don't think I would want to hang about there after dark!

Jamie Your Pastels forest turned out good. Believe it or not I have not watch any Twilight or True blood movies- let alone read about vampires- I do not like scary things...

Well, it was about time to read a comment from a Romanian art journaler! The link to the forest is not working anymore, and I've never been into that forest, but I've looked up on Google and seen some scary images!

If you ever come to Bucharest let me know!
