umm I don't think so. But I did want to tell y'all about this museum in Fort Worth Texas, The Kimbell located across the street from the Modern Art Museum. Admission to the Museum’s permanent collection is free. However there is a charge for special exhibitions; half price on Tuesdays (all day) and on Fridays from 5–8 p.m.
This is a lovely little museum, okay so not really "little", but small enough to spend the morning browsing, have lunch in the cafe and then finish up before rush hour traffic. Don't miss the grounds they are lovely too.
This is a painting by James Ensor (Belgian 1860-1949) titled Skeletons Warming Themselves; it is a representation of starving artist.
It was a hot day with the threat of rain when we were there. We were visiting a cousin in nearby Plano and since they had to work, we went site seeing. And we made a very full day of it. After the museum we drove down the road to the Botanic Garden, very pretty even though it was hot and muggy. They were getting things ready for some kind of big weekend celebration for something.
A view in the Japanese Garden
Do y'all have any idea how hard it was to pick just a couple of photographs to share?
