Carving

No, not turkeys but Stamps de rubber'ish type. Huh? What'd ya know I was all ready to link to some other post where I told y'all about carving stamps...and low and behold I can't find one. Wonder how that happened, I could have sworn that I had one. Si la via.

As I watched Paula Stream one night I couldn't help but notice the really cool hand carved stamp she was using in her journal. An on the go coffee cup, not unlike a famous brand I won't mention. {wink} I loved her stamp and wanted one for my own selfish self. Oh don't get me wrong I have some cup stamps, but I must have that specific type o'cup. And here it is, only much smaller than Paula's, for use on ATCs such as the one for Dede, Art and Coffee in the Morning.

Thanks so much Paula for the inspiration. Now about that same time I was working on some ATCs for a Beer, Liqueur & Wine Label Art swap over at ATCs For All; And beings how I'm not really a drinker I went with the Make UP your own kind of label art. So I carved this...

Hole E Cow what luck (I am a lucky gal) it came out okay. So I had to try doing a little jar, well moonshine did / does come in canning jars ya know.

That led to the typical little brown jug

The jug was used on the "Certificate of Freshness", a fold out description of the alcohol. You may view my finished swap ATCs on Flickr, because this is enough photos for one post.

That spray tent is a cool idea! I don't like the idea of gassing my neighbors when I have to release the fluorocarbons, lol. I am so far behind in documenting the colors, I am re-grouping and only documenting them as possible color groups. LOvVE the purple on your blog, too!
